My 2nd tattoo :) The phrase is from Isaiah 61:3 and there is a beautiful sermon by CH Spurgeon on this passage ( http://www.spurgeon.org/sermons/1016.htm). It talks of the joy that Jesus brings to the sorrowing soul. It’s been a rough 3 years with personal issues and with my dad being diagnosed with ALS - Lou Gehrigs Disease. It reminds me of God’s promises to me; that he will make all things new…nothing is beyond the grace of God…God can redeem anyone and anything. In a nutshell that’s what it means to me :) My tattoo is based off of a sketch done by my bff Shea.
